TALK, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to teaching severely language-disordered children to communicate through a proven curriculum called the Association Method.
We believe that the only truly appropriate program for severely language-disordered children is one that provides full-time immersion in a language-based, fully integrated therapeutic and educational environment.
TALK
established the Magnolia Speech School Demonstration
Program, which opened in
Berwyn, PA, on September 3, 2002. It is the only full-day Association Method
program in the Northeast. The curriculum is highly individualized, providing
intensive speech and language development in an academic-based program as well
as full-time sensory integration occupational therapy.
TALK
will soon begin to address its greater goal: providing access to
Association Method programming for every child who needs it.
We have already begun to address this goal by providing internships to students in speech pathology, occupational therapy, and special education. In the future, we will provide consultation for interested parents, teachers, and clinicians.
